Board Information & Statistics
Salann Salt Marshes
Resembles land in the Plains with a few exceptions. There is no dry ground. There are canals of various sizes and depths. The narrowest forcing two or more canines to walk single file, and the widest allows fifteen or more canines to walk side by side. At the shallowest points, water comes up knee high. At the deepest, you have to start swimming, as the muddy bottom is ten to fifteen feet below the surface. Crocodiles, Alligators, and even Bull Sharks prowl the murky, brackish waters. Prey includes fish, shellfish, raccoons, turtles, manatees, and herons/egrets. The grass comes up to a canine's shoulders, and the water levels rise and fall with the change in the ocean tides.
