Before a decision is to be finalized, the higher-ranking canines run the issue by the rest of the pack members to be voted upon.
They are respectful, polite, and civilized (for the most part). They will not run from conflict, but they always try to peacefully negotiate beforehand; only fighting if worse comes to worse.
