Webbed paws reached out in front of her, pushing water to her sides while her powerful tail beat up and down, propelling her even further. Sigatta was making her way to Sugar Beach. The sun was setting, setting the sky ablaze with hues of red, yellow, and orange. Paws finally touched sand and the Husky began to haul herself out of the water. Her gill slits closed as she began to take air into her lungs. Her pink scales glistened in the last remaining rays of sunlight. Once fully out of the water, Sigatta began making her way to the Pier. To a canine that wasn't a member of Cinnte, she seemed more fish than dog. That wasn't true. Sure she had fish-like qualities, but she was just as much dog as the rest of them. Eyes widened when she saw a pair of humans, perhaps a couple, taking a lovely stroll down the beach. Quickly, the female looked for a place to hide, but saw none, and she was too far from the ocean to make a hasty getaway. Flexing her clawless toes, she prepared herself. One of the humans, the female, gasped and pointed when she saw the Husky. Before she could react, the male rushed over and grabbed the dog in his arms, wrestling her to the sand. Now, the humans were talking fast, with a sense of urgency and astonishment. Sig drew her tail to the left, preparing to deal a blow to the man's ribcage, but before she could, the female grabbed her tail. The frustrated canine tried to shake her muzzle free from the man's grip so she could bite him and get away, but to no avail. He had a strong grip. Still talking fast, the humans tied her muzzle shut with a rope. The male picked her up and began to walk with his partner in the direction of the Boardwalk. Sig panicked. No! thousands of eyes would be seeing her and mouths would be open in shock. She had just realized that they forgot to restrain her tail. Smiling, she drew her tail back to aim another blow at the man's ribcage. The woman, having seen that they forgot to restrain the tail, tried to grab it, but Sigatta had thrusted her tail back, whacking the woman in the chest, the force throwing her to the ground. Another aimed blow hit the male in the ribcage with a crack. The shock and pain caused him to drop her in order to cover the spot where she struck. The rope wasn't tied tight enough and slipped right off. She reached the female and bit down on her arm. Her tail swung back for a fatal blow to the skull. The man, seeing the sudden danger that his partner was in, forgot the pain and kicked the husky in the ribs, making her lose her grip. The man faced Sigatta and pointed a Tranquilizer gun on her. Thinking fast, she aimed her tail at his legs. It met its target and he crumpled to the ground, screaming, still holding the gun. Taking this chance, the Cinnte fighter ran over, bit his wrist so he would release the gun and made a quick blow to the skull, killing him instantly. The woman screamed, having witnessed the death of the male. She lunged for the gun, but before she could each it, Sigatta had smashed it to pieces with her tail. A fierce glint in her eyes, the dog whipped her tail into the female's legs, causing her to fall. Acting fast, the fighter whammed the deadly weapon into the woman's neck, one of her tail fins digging deep, causing a fountain of blood to gush out. The second human died instantly as well. Bloody and bruised, the female canine waded back into the ocean and let the familiar feel of Saltwater clean the blood off her black and white fur. Once clean, she strode back out, only to see the form of a canine nearby. If he or she had seen what she had done to the humans, she would have to kill him or her as well. Panting heavily from the exhaustion of the fight with the people, she bared her teeth and drew her tail back once more, waiting for the other canine to approach.
