Patron God/Goddess: None of the Gods or Goddesses of Baile. She's a devout Roman Catholic.
As bullets rip a sky of ink with gold
Name: Moya Walsh
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual (Monogamous)
Breed: Australian Shepherd
Age: 3 years
Height: 19 inches
Weight: 53 Ibs
Appearance: Moya is a beautiful purebred Australian Shepherd. Her long, silky, expertly groomed merle fur is a muted red. Her large, semi-erect ears are folded forward slightly at the tips. Her moist nose and her auds are a rich liver (brown) color. She has rust colored markings above her honey brown eyes. That same rust color also colors the sides of her wide muzzle and cheeks before it trickles down her neck and ends right before it reaches her polished gold crucifix.
Her feathery tail is tipped in the purest of whites. She has a white sock on her front front leg and a white stocking on her left front leg. The toes on both of her hind legs are white. Just the toes. Her stomach and her chest are also a pure white. A small patch of white under her jaw breaks up the halo of rust that adorns her face. Her white nails are constantly trimmed and painted with a clear enamel to protect them against flaking or chipping. Her teeth are polished to a spectacular shine every two weeks. The shampoo that is used on her makes her smell like magnolias.
Like her pack mates, Moya has wide paws with short, blunt nails, thick fur, a small, compact, lightly built frame, hollowed out bones, 3 inch long thick spurs, small and sharp teeth, sparse pure white feathers are scattered throughout her fur with clumps behind her ears and along her spine, and large white feathered wings that have a total wingspan of 57 inches that mimic the pattern of snowy owl wings..
Pack: Mair
Rank: Pope
Any Useful Skills?: Fluent in Irish/Gaelic, Latin, and of course, English
Moral Alignment: Lawful Good
Temper: She is generally accepting of most canines (minus Atheists). As for humans, she is a little more cautious of them than she was before she was dropped off. She will usually try to peacefully diffuse a dangerous situation by talking and reasoning, but if someone attacks her or/and her faith, she will skip all of the talk and come at the offender tooth, spur, and nail.

Past:
Father- Shawn O'Connor +Australian Shepherd, NPC+
Mother- Lotus Walsh +Australian Shepherd, NPC+
Brothers- Falke O'Connor and Tod Amari +Both Australian Shepherds, alive+
Sister- Rose Harper +Australian Shepherd, alive+
Mentor- Taylor Dixon +Border Collie, alive+
Friend- Harlowe Dixon +Australian Shepherd x Blue Heeler, alive+
Two brothers and two sisters were born to Lotus in a wealthy neighborhood right outside of Belfast, Northern Ireland on New Year's Day. The litter was not a product of love, nor was it a product of rape. It was just simply business. There was no affection from the parties involved. Shawn (aka. Rebel's Last Stand) was a two time winner in the Westminster Dog Show, came with a hefty stud fee that the owner of Lotus (aka All She Wrote) was willing to pay.
Needless to say, weeks after the litter was born, they were taken to the vet in order to be assessed. One of the females was deemed the runt, thus, would never be capable of being a show dog and one of the males had been born with his right front paw slightly twisted, eliminating him as well. The remaining male and female passed with flying colors. And the two pups who did not meet the strict guidelines were to be sold as house pets, but they still would come with a high price tag due to their pedigree and genetics.
The remaining two pups were subjected to rigorous agility, obedience, and time trial courses once they hit their 19 week mark. The energetic female fared better in the agility courses and time trials than her calmer and more relaxed brother, while he fared better in the obedience than she did. He was to be trained as a 'Ring Dog' and only as such, and so he was given the name 'WUTC's Midnight Rider' and his sister, the clear favorite of their owner, was given the name 'WUTC's New Year's Day' after the day on which she was born (and her owner was a big fan of U2). But the siblings called each other 'Falke' and 'Moya'.
"The Duds", as their owner had called them, were 'fixed' and sold around this time as well. The dud female was sold to an American Middle Class family with a 9 year old son and a 13 year old daughter who had been saving up money for years in order to buy the purebred dog that their children had been relentlessly begging them for. She was named 'Rose' by the daughter. The dud male was sold to a wealthy Arab man from Dubai who was more than capable of paying the pup's ridiculous price tag. He was just simply named 'Tod'.
As time went on, the siblings began to mimic the practices and rituals that their mother and owner practiced. Their mother told them that they were devout Roman Catholics. Moya took on this concept of religion and praying constantly with great enthusiasm while Falke could have cared less. He wasn't an Athiest per say as his mother and eventually his sister accused him of being, he just didn't like all of the strict rules and guidelines that he had to live by. But, nonetheless, he still prayed with his mother and sister in order to get them to stop shaming him for not being what he thought was a religious freak.
After the siblings had been competing in various shows and trials all over Ireland and Europe, their owner decided that it was time to move to a new, unconquered frontier. The United States. And so, after the winning pair of siblings had passed their third birthdays, they were mover to America to start fresh.
Almost immediately, they were singled out by the neighborhood pets and teased for their strong foreign accents, show dog backgrounds, and especially their strong religious views. In order to escape the harsh religious teasing that his sister received, Falke lied and said that he was Athiest and that his mother and sister forced him to practice religion. Moya became angry with Falke for lying and backstabbing her; leaving her to suffer at the paws of her aggressors. When they were home alone, Falke tried over and over to apologize to his sister and mother for 'betraying them', but they were having none of it. Moya eventually got fed up and attacked her younger brother and ran him out of the house. She believed that he deserved it and that God would punish him eventually.
Their owner believed that Falke had been stolen from a rival of his in the show ring, a British man by the name of William and his second place Standard Poodle who went by 'ROC's Knight of Darkness' in the show ring in order to lower his chances of winning. While Falke hadn't been stolen by William, his loss had a profound effect on the Irishman's pride and the amount of cash that he raked in from first prize wins.
Eventually, he was forced to sell his massive mansion as well as his two remaining show dogs. Lotus was sold to a middle-aged woman and her husband who lived in a middle class neighborhood who had borrowed the money from a wealthy relative with the promise of paying it back. Moya was sold to a young couple who ran a farm just outside of town, who were looking for a replacement for their aging Border Collie and a companion for their youthful Australian Shepherd and Blue Heeler Mix. She was named 'Amber' by the woman, Lilly for her amber colored eyes.
Life at the farm was wonderful. The old male Taylor taught her how to herd livestock and told her stories of his life at the farm. The young male Harlowe was a constant source of entertainment and the two young canines grew to enjoy each other's company. Moya started to notice that Harlowe started to act rather awkward around her in the months following her arrival, and she had no idea why. He had began to playfully tease her, bring her 'gifts', and offer to do her work. Though it annoyed her quite a bit, she learned to appreciate it.
Then, all of that was taken away from her when the man, Jack, went to visit his ailing father.
You see, Jack grew up in a religiously divided household. His mom was a Southern Baptist and his dad was an Atheist. So when Jack moved out and married his Episcopalian wife, he converted to being an Episcopalian. That bothered his mother a little, but his dad was furious. But, since his father was now ailing, he felt the need to go visit him as every good son should.
So, Jack had become religious lately; maybe it was because old Taylor wasn't doing too well or that his wife was sent over to Europe for her new job and he was worried about her safety. Apparently, he felt the need to put his prized gold crucifix around her neck 'for protection'. She wore the cross with almost as much pride (if not more so) than her green and blue argyle collar. If anyone touched the cross around her neck, it was not be pretty result to see.
Anyway, she had stayed hidden until his dad spotted her. I had been brought over to his wheelchair where he reached a shaky hand out and started to massage her ears. "You must be Amber, our son's new dog! You're such a pretty-" He had stopped when he saw the gold crucifix around her neck. When he saw the crucifix, he yelled at my owner accusing him as 'betraying the family' because he converted to what he thought was Catholicism. No, he became Episcopalian/Anglican.
However, the insults that he (and soon, his wife) used to describe my denomination caused a growl to tear free from her throat as a warning. What did it was when she said, "Goddamn Catholics have every right to be disrespected and ignored." she had said. "Stupid Christians; deceived by Satan and worship idols." his dad had added with a huff. HOW DARE THEY! she had thought.
Then and there, Moya attacked both of them.
She didn't attack humans like some of those crazy canines out there, but they had offended her and trashed her denomination. Jack was horrified and did nothing as his mom dragged her of off the sinner, shoved her in her car, and drove off before she just dumped her off on the side of the road and left.
So now, there she was. Outside, alone in the dark, and as mad as a soul that's been in purgatory for too long. Mad at Jack for not stepping in and protecting her. He just let it... happen. Did he no longer want her?
Before long, she came across the mountains and after staying there for some time and drinking the local water, she took on these otherworldly traits and decided to start a pack- Mair.
